With the long-awaited debut solo album from Mpho Skeef, the voice behind Bugz In The Attic's 'Booty La La', released in October 2005, Documented Records release the first fruits with an exclusive Mpho Skeef 4-tracker on 5th September. The EP showcases Mpho's unique mix of styles, from the quirky R&B of 'Don't Like You' to the rocky Prince-isms of 'Hide From Us', the '80s boogie-drenched 'Do To Me' and the pure soul of 'Funny', all led by her incredible vocals and incisive lyrics. The tracks are produced by Anthony Tidd (The Roots / Musiq Soulchild) and Istiks (Morgan Zarate of Spacek and Yan Murawski), Having cut her teeth with vocal features with Bugz, Ty, US3, Spacek and more in recent years, this EP represents the launch of Mpho Skeef as one of the most important female artists and songwriters the UK has produced in recent years and will be accompanied by a number of UK live shows.'
